This breakfast idea is quick and easy, which will give you more time opening gifts and sharing Christmas memories with family. However, who has the time on Christmas morning to spend in the kitchen making breakfast foods for guests? Our recipe below will make you jump for joy at how easy it is to make our Cinnamon Christmas Tree.
Ingredients:
2 cans of 8-count Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
1 container of red, white, and green Christmas sprinkles
1 small jar of maraschino cherries with no stem – drain well
Directions:
- Heat oven to according to the directions on the can.
- Spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray (or line the pan with parchment paper)
- Place each cinnamon roll on the sheet and bake according to instructions.
- Combine the two cans of icing in a microwaveable bowl and heat for about 10 seconds.
Ice each roll with the icing and place one cherry in the middle of each cinnamon roll. - Let them cool a bit before arranging them onto a serving tray in the shape of a tree. With 16 rolls, you will have one roll at the top of the tree and the last row will have five rolls.
- Arrange the last two rolls in the middle under the last row and this makes the tree stump. Enjoy!
