Pistachio Pudding

A sweet and creamy dessert, perfect for your Christmas dinner.

Many of you have already made this scrumptious dessert, or perhaps you will make it for the first time.  Regardless, it is a much-loved dessert that is perfect for any holiday!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans fruit cocktail
  • 2 boxes dry pistachio pudding
  • 2 – 8 ounce containers of Cool Whip
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 of a 10 oz bag of miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 10 maraschino cherries chopped

Instructions:
Drain “well” fruit cocktail. 
Combine pistachio pudding mix with two 8 ounce containers of cool whip.
Mix well, but gently.
Add the well-drained fruit cocktail, crushed pineapple (do not drain pineapple) and marshmallows.

Stir in chopped nuts and mix well, but gently.

Place all in a decorative bowl and scatter the chopped cherries over the top.  You can also add a handful of chopped pistachio nuts and a stem of cherries for presentation.
